The safety key for OMC engine (simple fork version) is a critical component designed to ensure safe and efficient engine operation. This safety device is intended to be used with OMC marine engines, providing an emergency stop function when needed. The safety key is generally a key-shaped device that connects to the engine and the boat operator through a cord. Under normal circumstances, the key remains connected, allowing the operator to control and drive the engine without hindrance. However, in the event that the operator moves away or falls off the boat, the cord is pulled out from the key, immediately stopping the engine operation.
