The automatic hydrostatic release unit Hammar H20 R
The automatic hydrostatic release unit Hammar H20 R is approved worldwide and complies with the SOLAS 74/96, Reg. III/4 LSA Code, IMO Resolution MSC.48(66), and IMO Resolution MSC.81(70).
It is approved in accordance with EU Directive 96/98/EC on marine equipment and holds NATO approval.
The release depth ranges from 1.5 to 4.0 meters, as required by regulations.
It does not require annual servicing, repairs, or spare parts, but must be replaced after 2 years from the date of installation on board.

Hydrostatic hook for HAMMAR H20 life rafts - SOLAS
The HAMMAR H20 hydrostatic release is an automatic release device designed to ensure the safe release of life rafts in the event of sinking. USCG certified and EC Approved SOLAS, this system activates the release when the vessel reaches a depth of approximately 1.5–4 metres, allowing the raft to be released and inflate automatically on the surface.
