The 6 mm orbit is ideal for achieving the best combination of material removal and surface finish. The 6 mm orbit is 20% more efficient in terms of time than the traditional 5 mm orbit and, when used with the suggested abrasive papers between P120 and P320, generates the same high quality finish.
