Surface preparation:
Prior to application, surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned to remove dirt, oils, grease and any contaminants. Specific Helicestop Primer must be applied to ensure proper adhesion of the product.

Description
The product contains heavy pigments that tend to settle on the bottom of the container over time. Be sure to mix the product well before use, then dilute as needed. Leave the mixture to rest for 5-10 minutes to allow the air incorporated in the product mixture to degas and then proceed with the application
Types of application:
New steel that has never been painted or stripped to bare metal:
Possibly sandblast (to a minimum grade of Sa 2.5 according to ISO 8501/1 – roughness profile RZ DIN 20-30 µm), otherwise remove all traces of rust and calamine and roughen with a mechanical brush or abrasive disc. Remove dust thoroughly with a jet of dehumidified compressed air. Once the preparatory operations on the substrate have been completed, immediately apply “Helicestop Primer” and, respecting the overpainting times, at least 2 coats of “Helicestop A.F.”.
Other metal alloys that have never been painted or stripped to bare metal:
Roughen with a medium-coarse grain sandpaper or disc (P80/P100). Remove dust thoroughly with a jet of dehumidified compressed air. Once the substrate preparation operations are complete, immediately apply “Helicestop Primer”. We recommend an adhesion test in accordance with ISO 2409 to test the suitability of the surface to be protected with “Helicestop Primer” for coating. Once all the substrate preparation operations are complete, overpaint “Helicestop Primer” with at least 2 coats of “Helicestop A.F.”, respecting the overpainting times between coats.

Return Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We will also pay the return shipping costs if the return is the result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of your parcel being delivered to the returning courier, however in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive the return from the carrier (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes for us to process the return once received (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 working days).
If you need to return an item, simply log in to your account, view your order using the "Complete Orders" link in the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We will notify you via email of your refund once your returned item has been received and processed.
