Nemo Plus is a high-performance, multi-seasonal hydrophilic antifouling based on controlled-release polymer ablative technology specifically developed to protect boat hulls from marine biofouling. It is the ideal solution for non-fast boats or hulls used in temperate waters, providing an effective and long-lasting defence against the build-up of marine organisms.
Thanks to its advanced formula, Nemo Plus wears down progressively during the season, keeping the effectiveness of the active ingredient constant. It contains copper oxidol, so it is not compatible with aluminium hulls, as it could trigger galvanic currents harmful to the structure.

Description
Use
New steel (Opera Viva):
When sandblasting is not possible, remove all traces of rust and scale with a mechanical brush or abrasive disc. Remove dust and brush residues, clean the surface with a cloth soaked in ‘Diluente Nitro’ or Epoxy Thinner. Once the substrate has been prepared, immediately apply one coat of a suitable anticorrosive primer (e.g. ‘StopPrimer’) and then a second one. Respecting the overcoating time of the primer, follow with 2-3 coats of ‘Waterstop’ (or alternatively ‘Unicoat CR-A’) 24 hours apart and finish with at least 2 coats of ‘Nemo Plus’ 12 hours apart.
New wood (Opera Viva):
On a dry, seasoned and clean substrate, apply a first coat of ‘Corrostop 2M’ anti-putty, taking care that this impregnates the wood well.
After at least 24 hours, follow with 2 more full coats of ‘Corrostop 2M’ and then 3 coats of ‘UNICOAT CR-A’ spaced 24 hours apart.
(*two-component cycle*):
Apply 1 - 2 impregnating coats of ‘Epofixo Impregnating Primer’, then (after at least 12 hours) coat with 2 coats of ‘Epofixo Evolution’, followed by 2 coats of ‘StopPrimer’. Complete both the ‘mono’ and ‘two-component’ cycle with at least 2 coats of ‘Nemo Plus’ given 12 hours apart.
New gelcoat (Opera Viva):
Dry sanding with P120-P180 type paper. The surface must be completely dry (R.H. ≤ 0.8%), free of grease, oil and other contaminants, perfectly roughened and thoroughly dust-free. Apply 3-5 coats of ‘StopPrimer’ and finish directly with at least 2 coats of ‘Nemo Plus’ 12 hours apart.
Paint adherently and in good condition:
Wash with fresh water and allow to dry. If the antifouling is of unknown nature, apply 2 coats of ‘Unicoat CR-A’ 24 hours apart and finish with at least 2 coats of ‘Nemo Plus’ 12 hours apart.

Return Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We will also pay the return shipping costs if the return is the result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of your parcel being delivered to the returning courier, however in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive the return from the carrier (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes for us to process the return once received (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 working days).
