When should I have the raft serviced?
Two types of reviews are carried out: ordinary or extraordinary. In the first case, the integrity and correct functioning of the vehicle is verified, replacing damaged parts and internal components that are soon to expire. In the extraordinary inspection, more in-depth checks and tests are carried out, not carried out during the ordinary one.
Ocean Raft Review over 12 miles
Liferaft overhaul beyond 12 miles must be carried out every 2 years. Ordinary inspections are alternated with extraordinary ones: the first inspection, 2 years after purchase, will therefore be ordinary, the second, 4 years after purchase, will be extraordinary, the third, 6 years from purchase, it will be ordinary and so on.
Coastal Raft Review within 12 miles
The overhaul of the coastal raft must be carried out after 3 years from purchase and subsequently every 2 years. As with the ocean raft, ordinary and extraordinary revisions alternate.

Processing times are generally around 10- 15 working days, but I can change significantly depending on the period in which the review is carried out. For this reason we recommend carrying out the revision well in advance of the period of use.
